The Arts Bus is recruiting new members for its Board of Trustees!

We are actively recruiting board members across Central Vermont to join our Board of Trustees, particularly those with expertise in accounting, legal, private & event-based fundraising, and mental health. Here’s our superstar team working together as Board of Trustees for The Arts Bus:
Bethany Silloway (Chair, Treasurer) of Randolph Center grew up in a family of photographers and has been immersed in the art scene her whole life thanks to her Uncle, photographer Jack Rowell. Now, being a mother of three, she knows the importance of keeping wonderful opportunities like the Arts Bus going in this small community. Bethany works in public relations at Gifford Medical Center and finds herself absorbed in the ongoing community needs from health care to maple syrup to milk! Bethany and her husband, John, live on their family dairy farm in Randolph Center, which is not only a producer of milk but also one of Vermont’s beloved maple syrups.
Joan Feierabend of East Randolph received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from Vermont College. Her teaching career started with teaching crafts to the aged handicapped, followed by teaching deaf/ blind children; then in 1970, she moved to Vermont and began teaching adult degree courses. When her children were preschool/kindergarten age, she taught art eduation in Tunbridge, then expanded her artistic impression on the youth of the area by teaching K-12 art at Chelsea Public School for 24 years. Now retired, Joan creates new art every day, prolific on canvas and in her gardens.
Courtney Bowen lives in Rochester, Vermont, with her family and lots of wild animals nearby. She is the Youth Services Librarian at Kimball Public Library and just completed a Master of Library Science plus a Master of Arts in Children’s Literature from Simmons University. Courtney loves reading, gardening and hiking in her spare time. Prior to Librarianship, she was the Events Manager at The Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College for ten years. She adores attending live theater, music and dance performances and strives to support local arts.
Kirstie Bailey lives in Randolph Village, Vermont with her family and is an art enthusiast, community participant, and delightful addition to the Board as Trustee & Secretary.
