Camp Loads of Fun Aug ’24
The Arts Bus & Minibus cruised to Killington Recreation the final week of summer camp in 2024, a first for us to this beautiful location with super creative kids! We loaded our S.T.E.A.M. powered art for the campers, through which we explored the powerful combination of science, technology, engineering, math and ART across 4 days! On Day 1, campers handcrafted their own deliciously scented crayon candles; Day 2 they made a river walk resin keepsake without ever leaving the Bus; Day 3 campers watched galaxies & abstract patterns appear with acrylic flow painting plus personalized their own wooden Art buddy; and Day 4 was a camp-wide celebration of all we created together with a stunning gallery show and edible art in the form of cotton candy with loads of possible flavors & colors to combine…and eat!
